Mission & Service
The mission of the Cluster Social Justice & Catholic Service Committee is to serve the Cluster 22 parishes (St. Bartholomew, St. John & Holy Cross, and St. Maximilian Kolbe) as a resource, advocate, and coordinator of the works of charity and social justice.
To continually educate and inform our parish members about Catholic social teaching, current justice issues, and cluster Catholic service efforts.
To provide educational resources for the parishes, for example, bulletin inserts or informational packets about selected justice issues.
To seek out and collaborate with other area social justice committees to exchange information, network, and work on joint projects.
To continually promote and publicize the good works that our parishes do in the form of Catholic service.
To coordinate charitable efforts in our parishes in order that they be the most effective and productive.

Our newest endeavor is to plan a "Building Bridges" dinner in cooperation with the Muslim community. We are connected to and resourced by Catholic Charities Maine.
