The Parish Hall is available at no fee for funeral receptions following a funeral service held at the church. The Parish Hall accommodates comfortably 120 people (15 round tables with 8 chairs) and four rectangular tables for photographs and food. The St. Bartholomew sexton will, with advance notice, set up the requested number of tables and chairs. St. Bartholomew has a bereavement ministry and two parishioners will be on hand to help direct the family or caterer or whoever is providing the food and drinks. These parishioners are there to answer questions about how equipment operates or where to find things. They will provide minimal assistance in setting up and cleaning up. St. Bartholomew does not have linens available for funeral receptions. They should be provided by the family or the caterer. Leftover food if not taken home by the family should be packaged by the caterer and left in the refrigerator in the Parish Hall kitchen for donation to a soup kitchen. The bereavement ministry will contact someone to pick up the food. The caterer is responsible for cleaning the kitchen and parish hall after the reception, leaving the rooms as they found them. Caterers are responsible for removing all trash associated with the funeral reception from the premises.
